Overview/Sweepstakes and Entry Periods
The U.S. Cellular® 2018 Event Giveaway Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) sponsored by U.S. Cellular ("Sponsor") consists of weekly sweepstakes drawings (each a “Weekly Drawing”) with separate entry pe- riods (each a “Weekly Entry Period”) that will take place from January, 2018 through December, 2018. Each Weekly Entry Period will begin on a Monday at 12:00:01 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) and end on the following Sunday at 11:59:59 p.m. CT, with the exception of the first Weekly Entry Period, which will begin on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, and the final Weekly Entry Period, which will end on Monday, December 31, 2018 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which shall be final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes.
Drawings/Odds of Winning
On or about the day following the end of each Weekly Entry Period, Sponsor will select one (1) prize win- ner in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during that Weekly Entry Period. The odds of winning a prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received during each Weekly Entry Period.
Prizes
One (1) prize will be awarded per drawing. Each prize will consist of the following:
One (1) $250 value promotional card that can be used to make purchases at any participating U.S. Cellular location.
Prizes consist only of the item described above. Use of the promotional card is subject to the terms, con- ditions and policies imposed by the issuer.
Prizes are non-transferable; no cash redemption or other substitutions allowed, except as provided here- in. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize be- comes unavailable for any reason. Each winner is fully responsible for all applicable federal, state and local income taxes on his/her prize. All prizes will be awarded provided they are claimed properly in accordance with these Official Rules.
